Pourri is known for its cheeky, pun-laden marketing campaigns, so we knew the company’s inaugural year sponsoring SXSW—and its first large-scale experiential brand activation for consumers—had to deliver that brand promise AND cut through the noise to entice festival-goers to attend.

With this activation, Pourri broke out of the bathroom and showed SXSW guests what the brand is made of, curating a day-to-night immersive experience to engage all the senses—and scents.

WHAT WE DID

Festivals can have some
funky moments... Long lines, smelly bathrooms, sweaty armpits, and stinky shoes: Pourri to the rescue!

Pourri hosted three days of artist performances, panels, podcasts, and festivities at The Funk Factory—a multi-level speakeasy complete with VIP restrooms and gift bag swag.

Trailblaze entertained Pourri’s media guests with a Southern-inspired dinner, outdoor picnic, and swanky cocktail hour attended by 150+ credentialed press guests.

We distributed NFC-enabled Pourri pocket sprayers that granted attendees exclusive access to a sh!t-ton of fun activations.

To amplify the event, Trailblaze gave journalists and influencers an all access pass to experience The Funk Factory and Camp Funk over three days of live performances, speakers, meals, mixers, gifts, and other unexpected surprises.
